Article Marketing- Making Money Over A Year After Publishing Article

One of the great things with article marketing/bum marketing is that you have the ability to continue to make money well over a year after the production/publication of your article. Of course, there are the same variables involved in the success of the article(s) such as keywords, quality, placement, etc... BUT never give up on an article you put out there. Recently, we had forgot that we had done an article or two at the most on a topic and linked to both clickbank directly from the article and to a blog we set-up. While looking over my adsense CJ and clickbank information the other day I noticed that I had rec'd a few clicks on some of my adsense ads, sold 2 e-books w/ commission of $19.99 on one & $13.99 on the other, and had approx $2-$3 in CJ commission, but had over 15 "invalid link" clicks b/c I forgot to update the link to a product... Doesn't sound like a lot, but a year later this article or possibly 2 brought in about $40 in about a month time frame.... So, don't always get discouraged and give up, b/c you never know what will happen...

Bum Marketing- Looks Like I've Been The Bum BUT without the Marketing....

I apologize for not updating this and our other blogs/sites lately. I have had some medical issues and have been out of commission totally.. However, I should have plenty of time very soon to make up for it, as I did find out that I am about to undergo back surgery within the next month or so.. It will be the 4th one within 2 years, and it is getting very frustrating due to the fact that I am just 30 y/o, but no one can tell me what caused the problems, or even what will correct them or atleast relieve the pain to a tolerable level!!! Well, enough about me.. Just wanted to throw out there some things to think about..

Many people utilize Ebay and their store option for marketing, no matter if it is bum marketing or whatever, and have success for the most part. I would recommend it definatley, as it has paid huge dividends to us both directly and indirectly. Really, just think when you search for something on google, how many times do the results contain several user's ebay pages. A ton usually. Well, we also sell online, so I have been looking into alternatives to ebay and have found some that are totally free and can help in your marketing and/or money making projects.. Details are slim right now as I just did this over the last couple days, but will get back to ya and let you know..

Overall, one way to tell what google is "loving" currently is to just watch your search results for various topics. This will give you ideas of where to go to promote/market etc... While some may not be available for you to use directly, they will still help you get started thinking for alternatives. But if you just look a little I bet you can find some SUPER places to throw up an article or two.... that will bring in some traffic.. AND maybe even a little cash.....

Give Your Article An Advantage With Netscape & Others

There are several places to submit your articles for bum marketing or other No Money Marketing Methods such as GoArticles, SearchWarp and many other great directories, classifieds etc.. We will review pros and cons of each in an upcoming post. However, one of the most overlooked ways to give your articles a little extra advantage is to utilize services such as delicious and other social bookmarking services, but the most overlooked way to super-charge your article & odds of getting on that first page of the SERPS is to utilize netscape's service. There is the right way and the borderline, or wrong way, to use this. First, you need to sign-up for an account at netscape and then you just submit your article. This can create a kind of viral marketing effect and allow others in the huge netscape AND AOL community to see your article. Then the users vote on your article or sink it if it is bad, but I have submitted several articles to the service and some were not very good. And I have yet to receive a "sink" vote, so do not be worried about that. Anyways, what's the old saying, any advertising is good advertising, and that is true in this case.

Now the borderline way that some use is to sign up for several accounts and vote their article up high. However, for the return you get from this, it does not justify the time involved. I would suggest when using bum marketing or any other no money marketing method, is to submit it to netscape & possibly the most popular bookmarking services.

No Money Marketing Methods: What is Bum Marketing? Article Marketing?

Bum Marketing is one of the most increasingly popular methods of No Money Marketing & making money on the internet today. Often Bum Marketing is thought of as Article Marketing, but that is not entirely correct. Basically article marketing was/is used more as a tool to gain backlinks & traffic to a sight and is usually not as thought through nor targeted as Bum Marketing. Bum Marketing, when done correctly, is an evolution of article marketing in many ways. Bum Marketing is more successful when targeted at an affiliate product and/or service, for the most part. However, it is also utilized to increase the revenue of an adsense site or any other pay per click service.

Bum marketing consists of several different methods and theories within itself. First, you must identify a niche that can be targeted towards a specific audience base and is a lower competition niche. You must be able to find a quality product that the audience is interested in. Keyword research is a very important part of the equation because this is where you can begin making your way to the first page of the search engine results pages (SERPS). There are many tools that make this task easier and we will discuss these soon. Then you want to begin to "market" the product by writing articles, ads, entries into your blog, etc..
